4th of July

On the 4th of July we had a little BBQ at Troy and Andrea's.
Kit loves her daddy! She takes every chance she can to cuddle with him.
We set up a slip & slide on the hill in their backyard and it was a big hit with Jada and Kit.

Kathryn and Jada love the swimmin and splashin, but Troy is a little out numbered and not a huge fan. Here is Jada squirting him with the water gun.....
and the reaction we get out of him!

Uncle Troy put on a little firework show for the kids and as you can see Jada is NOT a fan of loud noises!

T.D's B-day!

Every Year we get to go spend the 3rd of July celebrating Troy Danny's birthday. For the past three years we have made it kind of a tradition to go to Eaglewood and hang out to watch the fireworks. Here is a little sample of our fun!
Troy is absolutely OBSESSED with Thomas the Train so his cake this year was decked out with the whole Thomas theme. Jada thought she needed to help blow out his candles :)
Here is Troy's little brother Braden! He is such a cutie!! He is going in on the 17th of August to get his lip repaired and I know I am going to miss this little face. I have really fallen in love with it, but it will be so much fun to see how he looks after his surgery.
A fun little family portrait. I was so glad Zak was able to be home for the 4th. I think this was the first time since we have been married that he was able to watch fireworks with me. I LOVE July it is my favorite month to spend time with family and enjoy the outdoors!
Kit thinks ANYTHING Troy likes is pretty cool. She would just sit and stare at this cake and every now and then we would catch her putting her cute little finger into the frosting and would say "...ummmm, Licious!"
Kit loves to get her face painted. She sits there so calmly every time. I think she is going to like facials when she gets older :)

June in Review...

It has been a fun month! I am still growing at an INCREDIBLE rate. Just ask anyone who sees me. It seems like even those that see me on a daily basis like to tell me how large I am! The babies are still doing great. They are both breached so it is looking like a C-Section is inevitable.  My OB says I will not be pregnant past Sept. 1. Only 7 1/2 more weeks! I can't believe it. It is flying by.

Zak was home for a good two months and we really did accomplish so much in that time, Cleaned out the garage, got a yard whipped into shape and our biggest accomplishment...Re-facing the fireplace.
We have wanted to do it for a while and finally saved up enough to get it done.  I also was able to buy my loveseat that matches my couch I got for our wedding four years ago! I will post pictures when I am finished painting my front room. Actually I can't take credit for that, my sister-in-law has been a HUGE help the last few days. Zak got called out to work in Libby, Montana for the next few weeks and had to leave me with an unfinished front room and nothing done on our nursery. Andrea came over on Monday and seriously got my whole nursery cleaned out (which was being used as an office/guest room/craft room/junk room) and managed to paint it all in the two days. She is amazing. I don't know how she has so much energy. Troy has been over to help watch the kiddos and I have really enjoyed the company for the last few days.

We made our first trek to the lake on Wednesday and it was a success. Kit had a blast playing with her cousin in the Lake and what a way for little Braden to spend his pre-surgery day. Braden went in for his first surgery today and was a complete champ!

Look at seanteyawilson.blogspot.com for his updates. He is such a strong little boy. Other than that life has been kinda boring! I miss Zak lots and lots already and we haven't even gone a week. It is hard to get back into the single-mom mode, but we are coping!!!

Just want to brag about my husband...

I just want to brag a little bit today :) Zak and I were down on Redwood Road looking for some tile and as we walked out of the building a blue minivan lost control and completely crashed into a light pole on the side of the road knocking it and the power line attached into the road. It was quite shocking to see an accident like that out of nowhere and especially since I have never really witnessed a car accident. He took no hesitation and told me to call 911 and he ran across the road to make sure the guy was ok. A little bit of panic hit him when he saw an empty car seat in the back, but luckily only the driver was in the car and his adrenaline got him out of his car faster than I have ever seen someone crawl out of the back door of their own car! When all was ok with the driver he immediately went into "Lineman" mode and wanted to get the power line out of the street so the traffic that was backed up going both directions could get through. He had all his line gear in the truck so he grabbed the tools he needed and went to cut the power so he could get the line out of the road. Everyone started yelling at him, "no, don't you will get electrocuted!!" He just chuckled and said "no, really I am ok!" It was only a line serviced to a street light, non-the-less he pulled the wire out of the road and we laughed as the cars passed by honking and giving him the thumbs up! I was a proud lineman's wife!

On that note, I guess I could update you with the last month. First off...Zak's line rodeo. This is a yearly event where apprentices and journeyman lineman compete climbing poles and simulating different work experiences. It is fun to watch how much Zak has gained confidence in the last four years. This was his last Rodeo as an apprentice and I don't know if he will do one as a journeyman, but it is fun to see what he does at work.

"belting off" on top of the pole.

Changing a fuse:

Hurt man rescue:
Waiting for the dummy to come back up the pole.

Self explanatory!!
They have a kiddy carnival while the kids wait for their daddy's. Kit was playing on the jumpy castle and digging through sawdust for treats. Grams thought she needed to have her face painted and here is my little Tiger! She was such a good girl getting her face done. I think it was totally relaxing to her :)
and she approves....THUMBS UP!!

"Girl....You huge!!"

It has been a while since I last updated and things are going well.  We went to our 20 week appointment and the girls are looking great. Growing in size and really sitting in my ribs!!  I am growing like a weed as well. I really think I have doubled in size the last two weeks and if it is any indication of what I am going to look like...HEAVEN HELP ME! Things have been pretty

 the last few weeks.
We bought some chickens and Zak and his dad are having fun building the chicken coup down at grandpa's house.  Kit is saying all sorts of words and growing so much.  This last week I was able to go to my annual scrapbook convention (yes I am one of those dorks!!). So I am showing off a few of the skills I learned.  My favorite movie to watch with Kathryn lately has been Madagascar 2. I LOVE Moto Moto.  I told Zak he needed to change my ringtone when I call to his hilarious lines. If you don't know what I am talking about I highly suggest you rent the movie!
We have had a great time going to the zoo this spring. We bought a family pass and head up when we can.  It is great to spend just a little time in each part of the zoo and not feel like we need to do it all in one chunk.  Kit's favorite part is the carousel. Well that is about all we are up to these days nothing too exciting. I will try to update more often!

Ok so here are a few little belly pictures! I seriously feel like I am WAY bigger than I was with Kit, but come to find out I look about the same! Not too bad for two babies, let's see what a few more months do! hehehe

Here is a little picture to compare. Here I am at 16 weeks with Kit. Boy I wish I was in Mexico again!

Ok, so I lied!

Well today Zak, Kit and I went to Fetal Studio to check the sex of our babes since we will not have another ultrasound for about five more weeks.  I was positive we were going to have at least one boy, but I was totally wrong. The results are in and clear as can be.... There is going to be lots of pink, polish, and princess in our home. We are expecting two more beautiful twin girls! It looks about 100% on these pictures. No doubt about it. I was pretty heartbroken at first, but we are going to have such a ball with a house full of women. Poor Zak! Even our dogs are all girls! Now I am on the search for two girl names. I have not even thought about two girl names. I was pretty sure our family was going to be complete after this pregnancy, but who knows, we may need to try for one more.....IN A WHILE! Sorry to get some of your hopes up (especially family) but we do tend to make beautiful girls so all you boys out there, WATCH OUT!!!
